There are so many animals to pick from, and the app can handle multiple animals at once. They not only move around but also make sounds. Plus, there’s a fun interaction mode where you can use food cards to feed the animals, which I think is awesome! For instance, you can use the grass card to feed the horse. Just a heads up, not all animal cards are compatible with the food cards. You can also change the viewing angle of the animals, which is pretty neat—it’s like having a horse right on our table!
The cards are organized alphabetically, making it a great educational tool for teaching our daughter letter recognition, which she’s currently learning in school. Each card features a big uppercase letter on the back, along with the animal picture, letter, and name on the front.
You can totally use the cards on your tablet or phone without needing the headset. Just fire up the app and put the Animal cards in front of the screen. Then, hold your tablet or phone over each card and scan them to make them come alive. This way, if you have more than one kid at home, they can share the device instead of arguing about whose turn it is.
We went with the virtual reality headset that came with it and my smartphone. On your phone, just open the app and pick the mode you want to use. You can choose from 360, Google Cardboard, and more. We liked the Google Cardboard mode the best.
Make sure to adjust the headband on the VR headset to fit comfortably. It can be sized from large to small, so even mom and dad can join in on the fun! Your smartphone fits snugly in the front cradle, which has a rubber bumper and corner guards to keep it secure. Plus, you can tweak the lenses by moving them in and out, and side to side for the best viewing experience.
The front cradle can be adjusted by pressing the buttons on either side of the VR headset. This feature is super handy for tweaking the distance to get the best experience in 360 mode.
With the 360-degree option, you can really dive into the virtual reality world, looking up, down, and all around. No matter where you turn your head, you’re fully immersed in the experience.
To watch the animals come to life, just hold the card in front of you while wearing the VR headset. It was such a blast seeing our daughter’s reaction when the animals sprang up from the cards!
The VR headset is really comfy to wear. We found them to be quite lightweight.

we have the Animal Zoo game and headset, but my son tried to peel off the activation code from the instruction card and ripped it. now some of the code is missing and we can’t use it. Would anyone be able to share the code please? frustrating, as we all enjoyed the game but is now unusable.
