Warm Buddy Microwavable stuffed animals

Microwavable Plush Animals Hot water bottles have been in use for centuries. Today, research has revealed, just how dangerous hot water bottles can be. In response to these concerns, new safer products have been introduced- for both children and adults. Warm Buddy Microwavable stuffed animals are the perfect aid for your child`s aches and pains. They make a great child-friendly alternative to the traditional hot water bottle.

Warm Buddy Company has been manufacturing the original warm-up plush animals since 1996. Designed with children in mind, they have quickly become wildly popular. Holding a Class 1 Medical Device Establishment License, as a result of extensive product testing and quality control, every warm-up plush animal made by Warm Buddy is held to the highest standards of quality and safety in the world.

Warm Buddy warm-up plush animals have been a huge comfort to sick children and have been used in children’s cancer wards, as well as in nursing homes, helping to soothe and relieve aches, pains and stress in the elderly.

Available in cream and chocolate, Warm Buddy’s 13″ Baby Beary comes with a removable inner pack that can be heated in the microwave or cooled in the freezer. The pack contain natural 100% pure milled white rice as the core heating component. Add a few drops of aromatherapy lavender calming oil to the pack for a therapeutic effect that will help your child sleep.

To heat the bag, simply warm in the microwave for 30 seconds max, then place it into the bear’s back to ease your child’s tummy aches, earaches, growing pains, colic & more! Allowing the pack to cool for a few minutes after removal from the microwave, allows any hotspots to cool down and the heat to distribute evenly. Always pay attention to the specific heating instructions found sewn on every Warm Buddy product and remember that every microwave oven is different, therefore will heat differently. Be sure to not overheat.

We found that the bags stayed warm for quite a long time. Unlike some microwaveable soft toys, the rice bags were quite light. A child as young as two should have no difficulty in carrying the bear around, when the bag is placed inside. Mom and dad will also be pleased, as each bear has baby safe features – stitched eyes, nose and mouth.

The bag should be removed from bear when bear is not being used as a hot or cold aide. To freeze the pack, place it in a plastic bag and then put it in your freezer for one hour.

Baby Beary is small enough to accompany children on sleepovers, and long car rides, providing warmth and comfort even while not at home. Each bear can easily be cleaned by placing the outer cover in the washing machine.

In addition to Baby Beary, Warm Buddy currently has many other stuffed animal designs to choose from. It’s hard to resist a soft-and-cuddly kitty, and even more so if this kitty can keep your child warm or soothe her aches and pains.

Kozy Kat was created from an ultra soft plush fabric and like Baby Beary, the Kat also has baby safe features, with a removable inner pack that can be warmed in the microwave or cooled in the freezer.

Because these stuffed animals are super soft, your little one can snuggle up to them- making them a wonderful comfort object. Just like Linus in the Peanuts, real children require a security blanket, also known as comfort object.

“Comfort objects” are things that children adopt as a substitute for you to give them comfort when you are not around. While comfort object don’t replace you, they have real emotional importance to your child. Comfort objects can take many different forms. For some children it may be a blanket, a doll, or a Baby Beary or Kozy Kat.

Warm Buddy’s mini cat was my daughter’s comfort object since she was four months old- up until age 23 months. I packed it on vacations and I insured it was in her crib, every night when she went to sleep.

Microwavable stuffed animalsNow that she has made the tradition from crib to toddler bed, she sleeps with both Kozy Kat and Baby Beary. In fact, I plan to order a second Kat, just to have on hand in case we lose this one. Kozy Kat also serves as a hand puppet, which has provided hours of entertainment for my daughter.

  1. My daughter’s comfort ‘object’ is me and her pacifier. I would love a warm buddy for her so maybe she could find comfort in that too! Thanks for the great review!

  2. These are lovely!!! I want to own one too! It would be great to have one for myself since I always have cramps when my period come, so hopefully this will help to relief the symptoms

  3. OMG I want that cat, to heck with the kids, I want it for myself lol …my daughters toy was MR big Bird…not BIG BIRD, but MR big bird!!

  4. My son has his ” muckett” A blanket -he carries it everywhere but must have it to sleep with. My daughter has her baby and elephant -she’s 9 now but uses even still at night to sleep but from 8 months to prob 6 years old they never left her side.

  5. I have a baby blanket that I slept with forever. It was the smurfs. I couldn’t sleep without it. I slept with it every night until the day I went to hospital in labour (Jan 17th 2014). So.. until I was 21yrs old (ill be 22 In Sept). It was so worn down and I slept with it every night for as long as I can remember. Its silly for a 21yr old to keep sleeping with something but I did.

  6. My kids both seemed to need ‘collections’. My youngest has a teddy, wolf and bobcat stuffy and a blanket(no special blanket just a huge flannel receiving blanket). And a few weeks ago I found my old teddy so she now has that in her collection.
