Rayn-Bands Child allergy bracelets

Medical Bracelets for Kids Going back to school can be a stressful time, especially for children with allergies. More children than ever before have severe food allergies. In fact 6.9 per cent of children under 18 years of age have at least one food allergy. Whether your child is starting school for the first time or is a returning student, a food allergy bracelet (kids id bracelet) can serve as useful tool for helping adults ensure your child’s safety. Let’s face it though! Kids can be choosy when it comes to wearing an allergy bracelet. Designer allergy bracelets are growing in popularity though and many companies are making medical id and allergy bracelets tailored to children. Rayn-Bands is one such business that makes, stylish custom paracord medical  and allergy bracelets for both children and adults.

About Rayn-Bands

Rayn-Bands

Rayn-Bands is the brain storm of eleven year old Rayn Loyer from Ottawa, Ontario. Rayne came up with the idea for the medical bracelets after creating the initial prototype lanyard as a solution for his youngest brother’s asthma and peanut allergy. After his first bracelet was made, friends and families started requesting orders and it was from there that the allergy/ medical bracelets business was born. To date, Rayn has completed over 1800 orders. The company donates 10 % of monthly sales to various charities such as Canadian Red Cross, The Special Olympics, and CHEO, just to name a few.

My Thoughts

Allergy bracelets Bracelets are custom made to order so they will fit your wrist perfectly; are lightweight, strong and durable; and come in a variety of fun colours to suit your style. There are currently 15 templates to choose from.

And since the bracelets are customizable and lightweight, they’re the perfect alternative choice for toddlers who attend daycare or preschool as well.

What draws me to Rayne-Bands is their more modern look and feel. Teens are a sensitive group when it comes to wearing a medical bracelet. Many of them care about their appearance and the opinions of their peers. Which is even the case with some young adults like my daughter.

I ordered one of the Rayne-Bands for my daughter who is living with a traumatic brain injury. I must say that I am quite impressed with how durable the band is. She is quite pleased with the design and has received lots of compliments.

Overall, I highly recommend  Rayn bands if you are on the market for an allergy bracelet or medical bracelet! Perhaps you just want an awareness bracelet. They can make those too. Although there are other alert bracelet options available out there, I’d rather wear something that supports a charity, and a young entrepreneur.

The Paracord Allergy/Medical Alert Bracelets are available from https://raynbands.com and retail for $15 to $30 which is very reasonable price to pay for a product that could potentially save your life!

  1. What a wonderful and quite stylish way to alert other of potential health issues. As seen in the picture above, I have a mother and a best friend both with brain injuries and in the past this could have helped significantly. Just as my mother started getting some of her independence back it would have been great have one that indicates brain injury! Will definitely be looking in to getting a few for family members!

  2. These are very nice, and so much better looking then the traditional medical bracelet, my husband bought me an expensive medical bracelet for Christmas but it’s still the normal silver bracelet, these ones are so much nicer looking and the kids would wear them a lot more, heck I like it, and I like that you can see the condition clearly, on mine it’s so tiny you can hardly read what it says! so yes I love these ones!!

  3. I’ve come to realize how important it is for my little girl to always wear a medical alert band informing others about her peanut allergy. She has one now that she wears, but I really like the peanut one from Rayn with the cartoon character on it.
