When my children were young, one of their favorite cartoon shows we watched together was “The Magic School bus”. The series encourages children to get out there and explore—to take chances, make mistakes, and get messy!
Even though I liked all the characters in the “The Magic School bus”, Ms. Frizzle was my favorite. Amazingly, the quirky science teacher is dazzling kids once again.

September, as children head back to their classrooms, they can hop aboard the world’s most famous school bus as Scholastic Media re-launches to DVD the timeless, Emmy Award winning TV series.
Ride with Ms. Frizzle, teacher extraordinaire, and her enthusiastic, inquisitive students as their Magic School Bus takes them on cliff-hanging field trips inside the human body, back to prehistoric times, far out into space, and everywhere else in between!
THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS: THE COMPLETE SERIES brings together all 52 episodes of the program – including 30 which are available for purchase for the first time – on 8 DVDs.
The collectible set also includes a guide for kids with teasers, trivia and experiments, plus a Parents’ Guide with lessons and learning options. Each episode is a half-hour long and our young testers have already watched several episodes. There mother says that they love The Magic School Bus and we are not one bit surprised.
This animated series from Scholastic is perfect for those rainy fall days; both education and entertaining. Grab a seat and hang on for all four seasons of the longest-running kid’s science series ever!
