Moving through life with confidence involves more than applying a powerful red lipstick before heading out the door, but that never hurts. What is more important, actually, is to make the right moves for you as an individual. Bolster yourself up with the important people around you and pay attention to the products you bring into your life. Find purpose and meaning while moving forward with intention and your head held high.

Bring Helpful Things into Your Life

Have you ever noticed that you stand a little taller when you are wearing a great outfit? It empowers you and emboldens your decision-making. Call it a power suit or an amazing streetwear piece. Whatever your go-to item is, pay attention to its effect on how confident you feel.

You do not need your specific item to be only one thing or even be something you wear. It could be an introspective journal from Grown Black Glorious or a tote bag that shows the world your unique cultural identity. Whatever it is, embrace its purpose and make it part of your brand of confidence.

Figure Out Your Path and Purpose

Having a purpose in life is important. The concept and ideal give your life meaning. A purpose can become a passion that drives you to do better and be better every day. Your purpose can inform your decision-making and help you to feel stronger about yourself.

Sometimes, not knowing what to do or which direction to take regarding an important decision or your path toward purposeful intention can leave you feeling deflated, frustrated, and less than confident in your decision-making abilities.

Find Your People

 Confidence
A significant part of a healthy and well-adjusted life includes spending time with other people who will help support you while bolstering your confidence, especially when you need it most. Of course, you have your family. They are the people who have known you the longest and with whom you have a shared history. They, however, might not be your chosen people. Of course, you love your family, and you always will, but sometimes, you need something else.

Having a solid group of friends with whom you have a good relationship, regardless of whether that group includes two other people or a vast array of main characters, friends are important for a life well-lived. These are the people you are growing with in your adult life. They are possibly having the same experiences as you are – graduating from college, meeting a potential mate or navigating life without one, having children or adopting pets, aging, menopause, and retirement and loss. Your friends are the ones you will lean on through it all, in addition to your family.

Growing your confidence levels is often intertwined with what you bring into your life and how you interact with it while taking steps to find your purpose in life. Once you have found it, help further that purpose while improving your confidence levels along the way. While you are doing this, be sure to nurture and maintain your relationships that were meant to last.
