Are you searching for a fun way to enjoy time with your kids this summer? How about visiting one of the well-known zoos in Ontario? With jungle cat encounters and wolf sightings, Ontario has many zoos that provide a great experience for the entire family.

Jungle Cat World

Jungle Cat World is a zoo in Ontario that you should definitely check out, especially if you and your children love big cats. But there’s more to enjoy – this zoo also has many other animals like a red fox, Gray wolf, and spider monkey.

You can also find free-roaming animals that you can pet, such as a donkey, rabbits, and a llama. You can feed the goats with corn that you can buy at the entrance.

Jungle Cat World also features a small playground and a lookout point.

They also have a special area behind the scenes where you can take a picture with your favorite animals. You can even pet the animals! For adults, it costs $125.00, and for kids under 12, it’s half price when with a parent. To join in feeding the big predators, you must be at least 10 years old, and some animals have height rules too.

Jungle Cat World Wildlife Park has a gift shop and a restaurant. The restaurant serves different kinds of food, snacks, and drinks.

Toronto Zoo

Another amazing zoo to visit in Ontario is the Toronto Zoo. It has many different animals, like big cats, wolves, and leopards, making it a fun adventure for everyone.

Try not to go on a really hot day because there is a lot of walking to do.

You can walk along the wooden paths surrounded by green plants and singing birds, or you can take a bus tour to see the interesting animals up close. Be sure to look for the polar bear statue made completely from recycled plastic.

After a day full of exciting animal experiences, visit the gift shops at Toronto Zoo to check out plush toys, pens, shirts, and more. And when you get hungry, enjoy tasty meals at the zoo’s restaurants.

Peterborough Zoo

Peterborough Zoo is a fantastic free zoo. It has over 150 animals and more than 40 different species. You can ride a train that goes around the zoo for just $2. Kids who are two years old or younger can ride for free! There is also a park and a splash pad to enjoy. Plus, there is a gift shop where you can buy fun things. For parents, there is a coffee shop named Hatch.

There are three of my favorite zoos to check out. Make sure to fill the car with gas, keep your phone charger handy, pack some sunscreen, and enjoy visiting one of these zoos this summer.
