I like the idea of alternative treats such as Playdoh and small toys. A co-worker gave small colouring books with crayons last year and it went over really well with the younger crowd of trick-or-treaters.

These are some great ideas! My neighbour use to use her change at the candy machines at the mall, but for small toys, she’d give those out at Halloween.

I will be getting my grandson something other than candy , he gets too much candy. This is a great idea, and he will definitely make use of anything Spiderman.
