Can I be a member of other webrings?
Of course, as long as you're not soliciting from our members list to promote or send email to our members to join other webrings!

How do I change my details?
Login to your account, once logged in click the "Edit Your Site" link from the main page of the webring. From there you can change your URL, email address and site description.

How do I become a member?
To join our Todays-Woman Writing Webring you simply need to register! This takes a few minutes of your time and does require an active email. After you finish the registration process an email is sent with a link for you to activate your account. Once you have activated your account click the "Add Your Site" link from the main webring page, be sure to fill in all the required fields. Then click submit, the system will then generate the Todays-Woman Writing Webring code with your webring ID for you to place in your webpage. Once your site has been reviewed you will then be approved.

What is a webring?
A Webring is a network of websites. Every member that joins the Todays-Woman Writing Webring has to provide a link to one another in the webring. Similarly, other member sites in the ring will give links to your site too, this increasing your inbound links and traffic.

Can I modify the webring banner?
You are allowed to modify the banner background only! Your not allowed to resize the Todays-Woman Writing Webring banner or compress the image so that it looks distorted. Review our guidelines for permission on altering the Todays-Woman Writing Webring banner.

Can anyone join the webring?
Of course the more the merrier as this will benefit all Todays-Woman Writing Webring members. The more registered members the greater the exposure for webring members and their sites. The best type of advertising is word of mouth! If you prefer you may use tell a friend to inform your friends of our Todays-Woman Writing Webring.

How long before I'm approved for the webring?
All Todays-Woman Writing Webring applicants must be verified first to insure the webring fragment is working and using the correct webring ID. This process may take 24 to 48 hours, if you haven't heard anything about your status contact the Administrator at webmistress@todays-woman.net

Do I have to display the webring code?
Only if you wish too remain an active webring member. If you have removed the Todays-Woman Writing Webring fragment from your webpage the webring manager will contact you to see if you may have moved it to another page. If there is no reply you risk being removed from the webring. Reason not displaying the webring code breaks the main navigation tool of the webring.

How do I delete my webring membership?
If you wish to be removed from the Todays-Woman Writing Webring, send an email to the administrator at webmistress@todays-woman.net. Be sure to inform the administrator if you wish to be removed from all the services or just the Todays-Woman Writing Webring.

Does it cost anything?
Absolutely nothing, Todays-Woman provides many free services and resources for registered members and the Todays-Woman Writing Webring will always remain a non-profit service.

Who runs the webring system?
The webring is maintained and owned solely by Todays-Woman, there are no third party associates or software developers. If you have any suggestions please forward them to webmistress@todays-woman.net. The Todays-Woman Webring software was developed by Invision-Graphics Design Firm © 2005 and is exclusive to Todays-Woman

I edited my webring information, but the changes are not displaying?
After any member modifies or makes changes to their site information it's qued for administrator approval. Your site is still active in the Todays-Woman Writing Webring, just the changes will not be applied until it has been approved. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for the Todays-Woman staff to review your changes.
