William Cottringer Writes: I am an author who frequently contributes to this site and find the content from other contributors to be very appealing and useful in my own thinking and living; and the site style is very user-friendly, compared to many of the other writers sites to which I post. I frequently recommend Rose DesRoches site to other writers and readers who I associate with."

Merriam Burke - quietvictimsvr Writes: I have been a member of Todays Woman since December 2004. My confidence has grown by leaps and bounds since joining. It is so much fun to read poetry from other talented people, and I also get excellent feedback on my poetry. There is a wonderful sense of belonging and comrodery with the other people there, as well as from the administrators and staff. I am so thankful that I found this great site, which I believe is the best one on the internet for writers. Thanks Rose DesRochers, Shawn DesRochers, Steve Reichard and all the staff and peers, I appreciate you all so very much.
Sincerely, Merriam |

Orin Griffin Writes: Todays-Womans is a very inviting and exciting site. Visually, the site is a pleasure to look at, very organized and well thought out. The members are very warm and engaging, so you are taken in by the hosptaility alone.
I have only been a registered member of two sites, though I have been a guest to many, still I have not sen many sites that are as genuine and make one feel as comfortable as Todays-Woman. The variety on poets on the site is an education in itself. My ability to open up and be more aware of other issues, passions, fears and senses has grown since I have been on this site. It is a complete learning experience.
I am working to publish and grow as a poet. Slowly, I am gathering many perspectives and becoming the writer I know that is in me. Todays-Woman has had a very meaningful effect on my pursuit of this goal.

Brian L Davis (Hoss) Writes: I would just like to say that I have only been a member at today's woman for a short time. In that short time I have come to truly enjoy the relationship between the writer and the staff. There are many talented and well deserving writers published there and the feedback is just wonderful. I would recommend anyone who is interested in sharing their poetry or short stories to join this amazing site. I am also published on a couple more poetry sites but I must say that this one is the tops. Thanks so much to Rose DesRochers and all the staff for all their dedicated work, very well done.

Ed Sykes Writes: I
submit my work to many sites with various degrees of success. Some sites are low tech and you
have a hard time finding your own articles. Some article sites you never receive a response to
any questions you have.
With Todays-Woman, you receive personal interaction with the site
owner and staff along with the ability to back it up with technology to provide a great service
for the author.
Keep up the good work.

L. Jody Kuchar Writes: As in all of life,
e-life (web based work) has its good and its bad. Recently I have had the pleasure of meeting the
good through the website Todays-Woman.net and Rose DeRochers.
Under no
obligation to assist, Ms. Rose DeRochers assisted myself and a number of other author/poets in
'outing' some of the bad; a plagiarist with pathological tendencies. I stumbled across
Todays-Woman.net by chance while researching an out of business print publisher of poetry
anthologies.
Over the course of most of a week, Rose DesRochers facilitated the
research of locating places where the 'poem thief' was posting stolen works. She was also
instrumental in providing pivotal copyright information to myself and many others, who found
their words with the plagiarist's own copyright attached to them.
Ms Rose
DeRochers has also given expert and constructive advice to this novice ePublisher, for which I
can not express how helpful this information has been and will no doubt be in the future. I
highly recommend all writers, and possibly visual artists to explore Todays-Woman.net and join
the community. Collaboration in any format is a beautiful thing, and Todays-Women.net
collaborates in an administrative way that is simply unavailable except to perhaps, those willing
to pay for university coursework. |

Irvin L. Rozier Writes: Irvin
Rozier, A Place Where Writers of All Categories Are Welcomed, Todays-woman.net Member Irvin L.
Rozier
I discovered Todays'Woman quite by accident. I was a member of a
writer's site that was to put it bluntly, "filled with writers who were full of themselves".
While on this site, I saw Rose Desrochers's article about Todays-Woman.net, and became interested, and joined Today's Woman Writing Community as a contributing author and poet.
What impresses me the most is
the personal interest Rose takes in each writer. I have really enjoyed reading many of the
stories and poems, and I really believe the positive atmosphere of Today's Woman Writing Community is an
encouragement to us writers. I have recommended her site to others, and they were also impressed.
The comments and encouraging words I have received from other writers made me
want to write more.
Thanks. Irvin L. Rozier, author of My Walk with the Lord

Bob Harter Writes: I happened upon this
web site "Todays Woman" quite by chance.
I was having difficulty getting information about a
poetry contest that I had entered.
I was amazed at how quickly my cause was taken up by the
site administrator Rose DesRochers,
and how adamantly she pursued my problem.
The problem
was resolved in a very short time thanks to her efforts.
The most remarkable thing about this,
was the fact that I was a total stranger.
I realized at once that I had found something indeed
rare and extraordinary.
I have since become a member and love every minute I spend at "Todays
Woman".
In the past, I frequented poetry chat rooms, but found them to be lacking in many
ways.
Here at "Todays Woman", I feel a warmth and friendliness that is truly
overwhelming.
Everything about this site is absolutely great . The people, the forums, the
stories. the poetry.
I could go on and on espousing accolades, but take a few minutes to find
out for yourself.
I guarantee that you will not be disappointed. |

Simon Erif Writes: When I first joined (asked by Rose DesRochers) I thought this place was some high bosh poetry gallery for the old
and wise. And because of that I thought Rose DesRochers was the recruiter kind of person who wanted fame and money, which lasted for about 10 seconds. I started to talk with people here and with Rose and I noticed this is a nice place. The people are nice, Rose is nice, and the poems are great. I loved the place and Rose. Rose DesRochers is the heart and soul of this place, this sanctuary. In here we can all be ourselves and express what we feel. Rose is a loving and dedicated person who gives you 110% if needed.
Thank you Rose DesRochers . Without you I don't know where I'd be. And thank you to all the great people here too. This place is a dream maker’s vision. |
