Todays-Woman Staff Rules

Staff Member Rules
In order to proceed, you must agree with the following set of rules:

Todays-Woman Staff Policy

In Order To Apply To Be A Staff Member You Must:
  • Be a regular, active member
  • Have been at Todays-Woman for a minimum of 3 months
  • Have a positive presence on Todays-Woman (your forum post count, which shows your activity in the forums is also considered, and as long  as their is no complaints filed and you have a positive reputation, and 2 referrals from either another member or staff you may apply.)
  • Be friendly to members and other staff at all times.
  • Some rules do not apply if filing for columnist position, etc.
In order to become a Staff Administrator, you must first be a forum Moderator for 1 year with no prior complaints towards you in the last 6 months. Also before taking any promotion or position, you must agree to be a Welcome Committee Member for 1 Week from your start date.

Forum Moderators should be knowledgeable in the topic they would like to host. They should be polite and helpful towards other members at all times, and give advice whenever needed and whenever possible.

Staff Members should visit the forum once a day, and take part in discussions as often as possible, setting a good example to the other members, making your presence known..

They should also take an active part in discussions between Forum Hosts- related to the running of the forum.

Todays-Woman Forum Moderators have a responsibility to keep unsuitable content out of the Todays-Woman forums at all times, and as much as possible.

Forum Moderators should frequently encourage member participation in their forum, both by posting in existing threads and starting new ones, making it fun or bringing up current events or topics that may interest both the Moderator and their section.

Welcome Committee members should welcome all new members and make them feel as comfortable as possible. Answer any questions they may have about the forums and Todays-Woman site, and continue to help them if they need it.

Welcome Committee Members, will be the buddy system for those new members that need the extra help and support.  

All Staff are responsible for keeping the forums active. Schedule events and games Dailey or Weekly and set up a new topic for each, making it easy to find and others can take part.

Forum Moderators should always make it a point to answer any post that has not yet had any replies, ensuring the member doesn't feel like a ghost.

If your un-aware of how to answer a members post, simply make a reply that someone will get back to them and notify another staff member for assistance.
