It has been brought to our attention that a woman by the name of Linda King (Lynn Racaniello) from Connecticut, U. S. A that writes under the online alias lynnfromct, lil-ole-me, ctgal_1966, anonymous_one and L.A. King (pen-name) has been submitting plagiarized poems to various websites. She was banned from The Poetry Pages for Plagiarism and in June she plagiarized the poems of two authors from The Starlight Cafe. Shortly thereafter she deleted the 200 + poems she had submitted to PoemHunters. She also plagiarized the poetry of author "Stephen E. Washam" and she submitted plagiarized poems to "EveryPoet.com" under the name lynnfromct and several poems to "AllPoetry.com" under Linda King. The poems have now been removed from AllPoetry.com and according to the website, Linda King is currently serving a prison sentence. However, according to her SpoiledInk profile, it reads that she was going to be going to prison April 13 for violating her probation. She could not of went to prison in April as she joined the Today's Woman Writing Community in May and was banned from The Poetry Pages in June. According to one member of the Starlight Cafe, Lynn King spoke of having the poems that she posted at Poem Hunter published by lulu. Heinz owner of The Poetry Pages says, "I will never understand the motivation behind stealing someone else's work of art and trying to pass it off as legitimately their own."
