Mine would have to be it's a bible verse:
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves."

That is a lovely choice, Misspink. I have so many favorites; it's hard to choose just one! This has been a favorite of mine for some time and I believe it to be true:

When you come to the end of everything you know
And are faced with the darkness of the unknown,
Faith is knowing one of two things will happen.
Either there will be something solid for you to stand on,
Or you will be taught how to fly.

I live for those who love me,
For those who know me true,
For the heaven that smiles above me,
And awaits my spirit too;
For the wrong that needs resistance,
For the cause that lacks assistance,
For the future in the distance,
And the good that I can do.

I too have so many fav quotes that is hard to choose just one.

Love is stronger than death even though it can't stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries it can't separate people from love. It can't take away our memories either. In the end, life is stronger than death.

Mine would be from Steve Wilkos - look him up! He has a show and it is not for KNUCKLEHEADS, MORONS OR BELLYRUBBERS. This is MORON-FREE TV. :Icon14:

There are a lot of good ones. The quote that comes to mind is from Memoirs of a Geisha- not word for word:

The character is talking about losing everything during WWII. She calls existence during that time "The onion life." She says something like, "We peeled away layer after layer, crying the whole time."

I'm going to add another one to keep this forum moving:

author is unknown:

Mile by mile life is a trial; yard by yard life is hard; inch by inch life's a cinch.
