Hello.
I'm new to this forum in my current profile, although I was a member before, but I forgot all my details, so had to re register.
I've just published my first book (at the printers now) after nearly six years of writing it.
Without going any further and breaking rules of the forum, I'd like to know if it is appropriate to make details of my book available here in this community.

Getting the word out about your book is never easy. You can advertise your book in our online book store. Today's Woman provides easy shopping links to Amazon. We offer a range of advertising options. You can also advertise in our Newsletter listing.

Every so often we feature free book giveaways in order to provide our members with a chance to win books from great new and emerging authors. Perhaps you would like to donate one of your books?

Thank you Rose and all the other kind people who have welcomed me to TW.
I appreciate your advice, Rose and I respect the norms/rules of this forum, and will try my very best to respect that.
I have written, some might say, a very personal account of my life between 2001 and 2005. I started it with a view to writing a travel book along the lines of Chris Stewart or Peter Mayle, but along the way, some pretty dramatic and unforseen events took place and my 'travel book' became a love story in real life.
I won't put a link here, but in my profile there is a link to my MySpace page which tells a little about me and the book.
I suppose I found my way as a writer through this book. That is to say, I found the genre and style I wish to write, being non fiction or semi fiction based on real events. I've tried fiction and have a couple on the backburner, but am now writing another book, a true story, partly fictionalised about a true love story that took place in Spain in 1905 and bringing it up to present day. It's the story of impossible love against the odds (my Argentine girlfriend's ancestors from Spain), through the civil war and freak coincidences.
Her family have asked me to write the book, which is in itself a compliment.
I wish you all well and look forward to being a regular contributor here.
