[font=Comic Sans MS:c46bc0899d]From the time my daughers were 6 or 7 until they left home to be on their own, we would take an old quilt to the backyard on August nights and watch the Pleiade meteor shower.
We also visited the library weekly where they each got a huge bag of books. That evening, we'd snuggle together in my bed---one daughter on either side---and I'd read the books to them. Good times and happy memories.[/font:c46bc0899d] _________________ What lies before you and what lies behind you is nothing to what is inside you. |

One time my mother was so mad at me she took my box of 624 crayons and threw them to the floor, breaking just about every one.
He, he, he.
She felt so bad about it she got a roll of masking tape and taped every single one back together. |

My youngest son used to come to me and say "I feel like a cuddle, Mum". I knew what he meant. I would have to hold him in my arms and put on the record by Dan Hill "Sometimes When We Touch", my son would cry and so would I. The song would finish and he would dry his eyes and say "Thanks Mum" and go outside with his friends. I would cry and hold my baby boy tight and never want to let him go. He moved out west when he was older. Whenever he calls he reverts to his youth and says "I love you mommy".. He now has a child of his own and a lovely lady to share his liife with. He will always be my baby.
Whoever my kids have children with is their choice, but I will know if they are good parents and I will try my hardest to stay out of it(I don't think I will succeed) because I want my grandchildren raised without abuse or anything bad.
I have a 14yr old grand-daughter and her parents and I have never had a problem as they have always treated her well. I just hope the same forthe next generation.
Sorry, when I get on my high horse, I get going. Thank you for reading
