I am so excited to annouce that a song that I wrote (the lyrics) for has been recorded.
It was a worship song that I wrote a couple of years ago. Earlier this year I was speaking to a friend of a friend, who is a gospel singer. I showed her the words to my song and asked her if she would be interested in writing the music for it. She liked it enough to say she would. I knew she was busy recording her second album, so I wasn't expecting anything to happen for a while.
I caught up with her about a month ago, and I was shocked, surprised, thrilled when she told me that she had not only written the music, she had recorded it for her album which should be coming out around November 07. Her name is Leonie Gardner, but I forgot to ask her what the album is going to be called.
She mentioned that she is planning a trip to the USA when the album is released and has been talking to 3ABN Christian Satelite TV station about being intervied, singing on one of their shows etc. She has an extraordinarily beautiful singing voice. Everytime I hear her sing, it makes me think that this must be how the angels sound when they are singing.
Anyway, I was so excited I thought I would share the news.
