Hi everyone. I'm not too sure how to put this across without it sounding
frightening. I see my family doctor every month for a check-up because of
the many illnesses I have. I also get weighed each month. I stayed the
same this time which is good because we are battling getting my thyroid
stable and up a little bit. So long as the thyroid is low, I can't lose
weight.
As well as my check-up today, he also had the results of my heart scan. Not
too promising. I have to go and see a Cardiologist. The scan was ok under
the stress test but there were some abnormalities as well which didn't
please my doctor. He said that he didn't like the way they worded the
findings because they were too inclusive. In any case, I will have to have
an angiogram and if there is a blockage, I will have to have an angioplast
to get rid of it. It is not the way I eat but the stress I have been under
medically all my life that would clog the artery. I am only 38 years old
and I have nitro-glycerin puffers and am taking baby asperins to help too.
I would covet your prayers over the next few weeks as I wait to see the
specialist. I cannot exercise vigorously and if my chest gets feeling
heavy, I have to use the puffer and find a place to sit down because the
nitro gives a person headaches. So I am very nervous. Please do keep me in
your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks. For now, just pray that I get in to see a Cardiologist REALLY REALLY QUICKLY. I can't sleep. I know it might not even be nothing, but there is a bad history of heart disease in my family. I am afraid to go to sleep tonight. Silly perhaps, but a lot of my mind as you would understand. God bless you all.

My prayers are with you too, Sheri. Read the poems as April mentioned, find the soothing ones and let your mind go there.
I will also pray for all your Drs and medical staff.
