I'm very upset. I work very hard at my craft and I don't understand why anyone would downgrade my work. My peers are one thing a guest is something else. Although I am glad guests can read our work they should not be permitted to vote unless they comment. One of my poems was downgraded from a 5 to a 4.33. This reflects on my work and my chances of being Poet of the month. GRRRRRR!!! Sorry, I'm done now

I think we all get upset that people rate us lower to lower our scores.
I try to take it in stride. Not everyone likes rhyming poetry and I
very seldom write free verse. I take it as their opinion. If I took
the ratings to heart, I wouldn't post or write poetry. Just my opinion.

Thanx Shelley. I was just blowing off steam. You're right of course. I don't write for everyone. I write because I believe that's what God wants me to do. Thank you for the support. Much appreciated.

The rating does not reflect on your chances of being Poet of the month.  However, I don't think anyone should be downgrading anyones work and I'll go through the system to find the offending party and either warn them or remove them.

Thank you Rose. I appreciate your interest in this. I'm not upset anymore. But whoever it is down graded three of my poems. I won't let it upset me any more. The Lord wants me to write and that's what really matterss.
