After five years it is with great sadness that I say goodbye to Today's Woman Writing Community. Do not worry though as we are not going anywhere. We are changing names. Today's Woman Writing Community the online writing community that you have grown to love will soon have a new name. In the weeks to come todays-woman.net will be known as todayswriting.com

The reason for the name change is to cater to both men and women. We are excited about the new name, so look for the move to the new sites in the weeks to come. Soon, you'll be saying welcome to Today's Writing Community.

Rose, I think this is a great idea.Changing the name to Today's Writing Community should bring in more male members that might have thought the former Today's Woman site was strictly for women.

I'm sure all the regular crew will stay aboard for this new exciting adventure. Raise the sails and let's be off. Good Luck

Being a newbie here (or a super newbie Very Happy ), I noticed a good percentage of the population are men and questioned to myself the name of the website. I think the change is appropriate and will make this site even bigger and better!

What happened to the change of the name of Today's Woman? As a member not here when this was posted, I am just curious?

The change will be good Rose. Those who are not familier with the community and how diversified it really is will be more inclined to become part of it. I myself never had any problem, but my friends and family would always kid me about belonging to a woman's site. Alas, I will miss my sun dress and matching pumps, but I'll get over it. Mr. Green

Now that I understand, I think it is going to be a good idea. Do you know when it will take effect? I do hope the rest of things here stay the same though. It is a great site and I need to get here more often. I've just been so stressed.

Sincerely,
Sheri Adams - standing beside TW whatever the changes may be.

I second all that has been said.

At first when I read the topic title, I was about to have a heart attack (and my cholestrol levels are lower than they should be!). But then when I read what it meant, I was excited!

Thank you and Merry Christmas to the new community title, and the community members! :-)

Sincerely,
TheRadiantSeraphim
