In my Dad's nursing home, there are 2 posters for 2 publishers offering poetry contests...one is the Poetry Institute of Canada , and the other one is Polar Express Publishing/Publishers... I would love to enter , but I wonder...are they the same ripoffs as the poetry. com outfit ? Are there any legitimate poetry contests out there, where they don't ask you to pay for the book your poem will supposedly be in ... You should be offered a complimentary copy, in my opinion... I, too, was a victim to the poetry.com site...
Any insight on the 2 Canadian poetry contests i just mentioned above would be helpful, thank you ...PoetWoman  |
