VendorPro are spammers and if you Google the company, you'll see forum posts and blog post from unhappy individuals which state that VendorPro is a scam.
You might want to do a search through Google , you’ll be surprised at the warnings that come up about venderpro. It would appear that they just don’t target authors. _________________ Rose DesRochers World Outside My Window|

Cynthia Brian a media coach serving authors' needs reported the following.
This is a company that emails letters to authors who need to sell books.
In their email, Vendor Pro, formerly knnown as BulkWorks indicates that the book category is the most popular section of their site and guarantees sales. (The word "guarantee" should be our first clue that they are a scam.)Here is a sampling: "There are millions of large retailers, gift stores, specialty shops, mail-prder catalogs, and internet shopping sites looking for books just like yours to sell in the their stores. That's where we come in.
Registering your company with VendorPro may be the most cost-efficient marketing investment your company will ever make. There are many free advantages to membership, like a fully self administered listing in VendorPro, giving you exposure to thousands of qualified buyers, unlimited product listings with no commission charges, access to valuable databases and more! All for only $340 per year! WE GUANRANTEE RESULTS: ONCE YOUR PRODUCTS ARE POSTED WE GUARANTEE YOU'LL GET RESPONSES THROUGHOUT THE TIME YOU ARE REGISTERED WITH US OR WE'LL REFUND YOUR REGISTRATION FEE 100%"
Since I am a media coach serving authors' needs, I decided to give it a shot to see if this company would be a benefit to my clients. I had noticed that PMA magazine had written that this company could be beneficial. After many emails and phone conversations, I signed up with them on July 16, 2003 paying with VISA. By October I had not received any inquiries about my books so I contacted them to ask for a refund. They said that they only gave refunds after 1 year and again re-iterated their 100% money-back guarantee. On July 20, 2004 I contacted them for a refund. Not only had I had no sales during the year, I had not received even ONE request for information. Ethan Nelson said they would only give a refund after I had sent them my complete email list of all correspondence for the entire year so that they could be CERTAIN that I was not lying. Their guarantee never said this. It appears they may be trying to capture email addresses. After numerous emails and phone calls to them, I wrote to VISA to report them as a SCAM, however VISA could do nothing as a full year had transpired. Vendor Pro will not respond to any of my calls, letters, or emails.
Please warn others NOT to fall for this scam. An author or other business can better utilize $340 marketing elsewhere.
Thanks for posting this warning. I don't want writers and authors to suffer any grief from this unethical company.
Thank you, Cynthia Brian _________________ Rose DesRochers World Outside My Window|
