Hallmark brings 1,000 Ways to Tell Mom  you love her

Thousands of greetings cards are sent every single day all over the world. Mother’s Day is the third-largest card-sending holiday and Hallmark is one of the largest greeting card companies.

Hallmark started by Joyce Hall in 1910, began as a mail order postcard business. In 1928 the Hallmark brand name appeared for the first time and in 1944 Hallmark begin using the slogan, ‘When you care enough to send the very best’.

By 1956 the company employed 4,000 staff, produced over three million cards a day.  Today they are one of the biggest card companies in the world.

Greetings cards have changed a lot over the years. Hallmark offers nearly 1,000 Mother’s Day cards — 1,000 ways to tell a mom, grandma, daughter or mother figure that she made you who you are today.
