The arrival of a new baby is about to bring many changes to my friend Dana’s household. As a mother of three I know that all this change will be hard for Dana’s three year old son as he becomes jealous over all the attention his new baby brother is getting. I wanted to make Dana’s son feel important, too, with a special sibling gift, so I chose to get him a book from I See Me.

I See Me mission is to increase self esteem in children through personalized books that celebrate the uniqueness of each child.

For Dana’s son I chose My very own Pirate Tale as her son is a fan of Jake & The Never Land Pirates, so I wanted to get him a gift he would love. Entertaining sea creatures bring letters one by one to spell out my friend’s son’s name as they describe why he is the perfect candidate to be the captain’s first mate.

At the end of the adventurous pirate story, his name is revealed as the secret to opening the treasure. We found the illustration to be wonderful and a fantastic teaching aid in building vocabulary skills and assisting him in spelling his own first and last name before he even enters pre-kindergarden.

The book also came with a pirate place-mat with Aiden’s name on it. Personalized place-mats are the perfect way to make meal time and snack time more fun! Each one is made to order and is a special gift for any occasion.

We have yet to give the book to Aiden as Danny is not do until October, but I know he will be super excited.

The Super, Incredible Big Brother and sister book from I See Me! are also the perfect sibling gift as the books comes personalized with big brother or sister’s name and the name of the new baby.

Overall, we love the I See Me! books and I will be definitely getting a couple for my grandchild. Who Loves Me? and Personalized Lovie Blanket Set would make the perfect shower gift.
