Hot Peas ‘N Butter, what a name for a band. The popular children’s music group comes from New York City and was founded by 
Danny Lapidus and Francisco Cotto, both professional musicians who have been best friends since childhood. Their style is a bilingual, energetic Latin folk. They have a new album “Catchin’Some Peazzz” volume 6 that will be released August 28th via Sony Music/Red Distribution.
This new album consist of original lullabies and soft renderings of familiar children songs. The hours Danny Lapidus and Francisco Cotto spent putting their own kids to bed inspired the songs on the album.
The CD Guest artists include pianist Rob Arthur (Peter Frampton Band) and virtuoso jazz guitarist Oz Noy.
Songs like “Rock-a-Bye Baby” and ” no worries” and the new acoustic arrangement of “Beautiful Dream,” are such soothing songs, which will help your baby or toddler drift off to sleep. Acoustic guitar and piano tracks are very dominate in the new album. Even the song “Itsy Bitsy Spider” is a soothing melody that you could listen to over and over again. Mom and dad might even find themselves drifting off to sleep. Everyday Lullaby will touch a soft spot in father’s hearts. I appreciate the way that they easily move back and forth between is Korean and English in the song Nabiya.
A lullaby is a wonderful way to help Baby drift off to sleep and the new album ”Catchin’Some Peazzz” volume 6 by Hot Peas ‘N Butter will no doubtfully do just that.
