October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
According to the Canadian Cancer Society, in 2010 an estimated 23,200 women were diagnosed with breast cancer, and sadly 5,300 will die of it.
Founded in 1995, for more than 15 years, it has been Smart Planet’s mission to help you live in our planet earth with our Eco-friendly household items. Their eco friendly drink-ware items are one of the very many product categories that they take pride in.
Breast cancer, and Eco Friendly Drinkware; what’s the connection?

donated to finding a cure for breast cancer!
Breast Cancer has touched a close family friend of mine, so when Companies like Smartplanet do their part to donate to causes like this it really touches my heart.
The Eco Curly cup has double insulated walls, so your hands don’t freeze, no matter how cold your drink is. The cup fits into the cup holder of our Jeep with no problems and keeps my drink nice and cold.
The 12 oz ceramic Eco Coffee Cup is an eco-friendly alternative to paper or 
styrofoam cups. Its double wall construction insulates the cup keeping your drink hot longer. The special silicone sleeve provides a non-slip grip keeping your hand cool. The cup is both dishwasher and microwave safe.
I really like the look of the cup as well as the size. The silicone sleeve is nice for someone like me who normally has to double their cup when I make a stop at Tim Horton’s. I found it did keep my coffee hut for a long time.
Smart Planet’s 16 OZ double wall insulated stainless steel cup with matching silicone sleeve and lid is a nice size cup. I found it very useful as not only does it have the silicone lid, but it also has the wrap keeping my hands once again cool.
Smart Planet 12-Ounce Eco Glass Coffee Cup is a nice double wall insulated glass
cup with silicone lid. I found the double wall construction that insulates the cup kept my tea hot enough, so that I can enjoy it while I’m working away at my computer. The coffee cup is microwave safe, so if your tea or coffee does go cold you can heat it up.
Perhaps one of my favorite cups that children will also like is 
the 16 oz – Double Walled – Eco Swirly Cup with candy cane straw. The cup is available in 4 fun colors and does a great job at keeping your beverage nice and cold.
