June 23rd, 2011Rubbermaid– Filter Fresh Water Bottle customer review

Transforms ordinary tap water into great tasting refreshing water with Rubbermaid’s new Filter Fresh Water Bottle.
Unfortunately, more than one billion plastic water bottles are dumped into landfills in Canada every year and even though I own several water bottles I still purchase bottle water, because it tastes fresher than my tap water.
When I was asked by Rubbermaid if I’d like to review their new-FilterFresh water bottle I declined at first, because I do own so many water bottles.
When Rubbermaid explained that unlike other water bottles- the Filter Fresh Water bottle takes tap water and filters it into fresh tasting water I was intrigued.
I like the idea of a bottle that is attractively designed that filtrates tap water, so that one can eliminate dependence on expensive bottled water.
This is the first filtered bottle I’ve owned, so I can’t compare to other brands, but I’m sold on Rubbermaid.

A carbon-based filter attaches to the inside of the bottle cap and removes chlorine and other large sediment particles. The bottle holds 20oz. of filtered water and I love that the bottle is wide enough for ice cubes.
A dial on the replaceable filter helps track when it is time to replace the filter, which should be done approximately every three months.
The bottle sounds like a squeezable water bottle and there is no leakage whatsoever do to the screw on cap.
The FilterFresh Water Bottle is available in four colors – blue, purple, black and green. Bottles and replacement filters are available at participating Real Canadian Superstores, Loblaw Great Food stores and Via Amazon.com.

Bottles retail for $9.99 and a 2-pack of replacement filters is also $9.99.
Purchase yours today. I can guarantee after using Rubbermaid’s FilterFresh water bottle you won’t use anything else.
