Just because you are in love with your ex doesn't mean they feel the same way about you. It is going to take some effort to win them back after a nasty break up. What are some of the things you can do to make it happen?

All too often the person that really doesn't want to break up or separate decides it's not worth the effort. That is the worst thing you can do. Every couple goes through tough times. Lots of couples reunite after a divorce. Make sure you let the other person know that you still want to have a relationship even if you have been hurt. If they start dating other people don't get discouraged. Sometimes, the "grass isn't any greener on the other side of the fence". Mid life crisis is a very real thing. Perhaps, your partner decided that they just didn't want to be responsible any more?

The "out of sight-out of mind" mentality is not the right approach at a time like this. How you do it is extremely critical though. Leave a note on their windshield and remind them about the good times you had together. Send them an e mail and say the same thing. You can leave a message on their voice mail as well. Your first reaction to that is they will probably just ignore everything you are trying to do. You would be surprised how often that isn't the case. Even though they tell you that they hate you they probably don't. Never assume that what they are saying is exactly how they feel.

Make it a personal goal to shape up, lose weight and start being the best looking gal you can be.
