Advice: Envy and Jealousy - Don't allow it to control you
Advice Author: Rose DesRochers

Most everyone I know has experienced envy at one time or another.

"Some folks rail against other folks, because other folks have what some folks would be glad of." - Henry Fielding

Envy is an emotion, and it is not always easy to control our emotions. Have you ever read another writer's work and been jealous that your own writing has not reached that level or maybe one of your fellow authors has had great success with their first book and you have not been as successful. It is hard to look at another's success and not envy it. As writers each of us is capable of seeing what our own strengths and weakness are.

I’m not a big fan of Valentine’s Day. Let’s look at this honestly. Valentine’s Day is just another of those materialistic holidays invented by retailers to try and create a need to spend money to prove one’s affection to a spouse.

It all started a couple days after Christmas. Store fronts were filled with heart-shaped chocolate boxes, cuddly stuffed animals, and candy hearts with little sayings on them.

Advice: Honor Them With A Dance
Advice Author: Rose DesRochers

There is no better time than the present to honor those we love with a dance.

As I look back on my life, I realize that everything happens for a reason. I watch the seasons of my life quickly pass me by and I think about how we are born, we live and we die. I think of those so deep in their job that they neglect those around them.
