Wild Republic Partners with Project Night Night to Help Homeless Children

Wild Republic and Project Night Night

The holiday season is reminder to reach out to those in need, whether it’s a family member, friend, a neighbor or a stranger. I would like to tell you about how you can help children in need this holiday season.

Did you know that 1 in 30 children will be homeless at some point this year? One in thirty!  Each year 1.5 million American Project Night Nightchildren face homelessness-.—and these numbers are sadly growing. Many arrive at shelters with only having the clothes on their back.

Project Night Night a nonprofit organization based in San Francisco has been helping children for the past 10 years. In that time they have visited hundreds of shelters, heard heartbreaking stories, and distributed over 250,000 Night Night Package to little ones who had no comfort items to call their own.
Each package is a canvas tote bag containing at least one age-appropriate new security blanket, a children’s book and a stuffed animal.  These care packages bring a sense of security to these children during a stressful time in their lives.

Wild Republic, an international toy company based in Twinsburg, has teamed up with Project Night Night to put stuffed Project Night Night animals into the hands of  these kids who need them most this holiday season.

Through Dec. 16, 2015, Wild Republic will donate one of their new Switch-A-Rooz reversible stuffed animals to Project Night Night for every order over $35 on wildrepublic.com. The purchaser will also receive a free Switch-A-Rooz and free shipping for the entire order.

“We know how much of a comfort our stuffed animals can be to children” Chandran said. “Please join us in helping children in need this holiday season.”
